Blackjack betting strategies during online play can help you win big. The question is: Do you have the skills?
Want to test your blackjack betting strategies by playing online? Worried about getting ripped off by a shady, online casino?
It is wise of you to be weary, because truth be told, most online casinos are completely corrupt. This is entirely due to grey laws surrounding online gambling, and little government enforcement to make sure the games are legit.
In my college years, just around the time I started playing blackjack online, I quickly discovered which casinos were shady, and which ones are on the up-and-up. I may have lost a wheelbarrow full of money in the process, but hey, at least I got to practice my blackjack betting strategies.
Anyway, I'll get to the point: Mount Rushmore and Cherry Red are my two favourite online casinos hands down. This is for two reasons only:
1. I have played enough hands over a long period of time to know that these two are on the up-and-up. I have tracked my hands and my win-loss record falls within statistics.
2. The huge variety of variations they offer to the game. Playing same ol' blackjack can get stale after awhile, but not when you can switch it up with crazy new bonuses and twists to the traditional rules.
The first casino, Mount Rushmore, is a real gem.
This casino has been so good to me in the past, I just have to keep coming back. This is a great online casino to test your blackjack betting strategies and to discover the many variations to online blackjack.
Face Up 21
One game that I am absolutely obsessed with is “Face Up 21”. You guys are going to love this one.
Face Up 21 is a blackjack variation where you get to actually see the dealer's cards! Holy crap, right?
The object of the game is similar to standard blackjack—get closer to 21 than the dealer, without going over.
The player is allowed to double on hard totals of 9, 10, and 11, and can even double after a split. To make things even better, the player wins on all blackjack ties, and the dealer hits on soft 17. If you love playing blackjack, then you will love Face Up 21.
"Super 21" is a game that has been very good to me in the past. Super 21 is your standard blackjack game, with a ton of added bonuses that pay out huge. Most of the bonuses involve getting multi-card 21's.
Special payouts occur on the following: five-card 21’s, six-card 21’s, and on a diamond blackjack. If you have nerves of steel, you can keep on hitting to shoot for a six-card twenty-one (I’ve done it, but I’m a risk taker).
The Catch? You have to place a side bet in order to be able to win perfect pairs? This is why I don't play the side bet every single hand, but I will play about every ten hands or so.
Here is a screen shot of me hitting the jackpot. Twenty-Five times my original bet… Gotta' love playing making blackjack online deposits and cashing in once in awhile.
Match Play 21
In Match Play 21, all the 10’s are removed from the deck, and tons of special payouts are up for grabs. The best special payout you can get is called Match Play 21, which is a hand of three suited 7’s with the dealer’s face-card also a 7.
Other special payouts include: five-card 21, any 6-7-8, any 7-7-7, six-card 21, suited 7-7-7, 6-7-8 spades, 7-7-7 spades, and 21's created with seven or more cards. The player is allowed to split under certain situations, and player blackjack always wins.
Of course, no online-casino would be complete without European Blackjack. This game is similar to standard blackjack, but in European Blackjack the dealer doesn't receive a hold card until the player has finished making all his decisions; including doubling and splitting. Also, the dealer has to stand on soft 17, and players can only double on hard totals of 9 or 11.
Every gambler needs variety though, right? That is why I also recommend to you, Captain Cooks. It is very similar to Mount Rushmore, but with a little bit of a sexier interface. Sometimes I like to switch it up between the two of them.
